Bus of Angels – Syria
During the Syrian Civil War, we operated a specialized medical evacuation program transporting thousands of Syrian women and children to hospitals in Northern Israel for life-saving medical treatment. This cross-border humanitarian corridor provided critical care to those who would have otherwise perished from their injuries.

Operation Good Neighbor – Syria
Since 2011, we have been providing critical humanitarian aid to Syrian civilians affected by the civil war. Our efforts include delivering food, medical supplies, establishing field hospitals, and coordinating medical treatment for children in Israeli hospitals. We also facilitated the rescue of the last Jewish family from Aleppo.

Afghanistan Rescue Operations
Following the Taliban takeover in 2021, we launched complex operations to evacuate high-risk individuals. This included members of the Afghan women’s national soccer team, female judges, prosecutors and their families, saving them from persecution.

Ukraine Emergency Response
In Ukraine, Amalyah provided humanitarian aid and medical supplies and successfully transferred 1,000 tons of much-needed diesel into the country, while facilitating the export of 1,000 tons of sunflower oil. Amalyah also set up shelters and soup kitchens on the Romanian border with Ukraine and assisted in rescuing 200 orphaned children who needed help following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Preservation of Syrian Jewish Heritage
We have been rescuing valuable Judaica and Torahs from Syria, including from the Jobar synagogue that was heavily damaged by bombings, for the past eight years. We are continuing our work to preserve these ancient artifacts by bringing them to the United States for safekeeping. One day, it will be safe to return these testaments to the Jewish faith and the Jewish people back to a peaceful Syria. A Genizah is storage place for old books and relics and we have identified several of these locations where truckloads of ancient and treasured works remain very vulnerable to loss and destruction.
